About Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 Hatha Yoga postures, systematically weaved together in such a way to bring highly oxygenated blood to every cell in the body and restore the body to perfect working order, just as nature intended.

 

 

Erin had been suffering with chronic back pain for several years and was advised to undergo surgery on her lower spine. After spending 18 months between traction and physiotherapy and just about any other treatment, she found Bikram Yoga.

After one class Erin found tremendous healing benefits. After lying in bed for long periods of time, to standing upright and having positve thoughts was the beginning of a long road back to health.The journey from pain back to health is no easy task. 'If you put your mind to it, you can do anything.' But its not only for those who have pain.

Bikram Yoga helps deal with the daily stresses of life. Everything from what we eat to how our day unfolds leaves residual stress in the body. How we deal with our life reflects deeply on our bodies, minds and hearts. The body never lies. 1% is what happens to you in your life. 99% is how you deal with it.

Each time you come to class you re-energize, re-organize and re-vitalize your body making each day you practice yoga a successful fight against age, illness and disease.

Faith, Hope and Belief are the foundations of yoga to mention but a few. You are infinite. All you need is the key. As Bikram says, 'if you can do a perfect Padahastasana (hands to feet pose) you'll never have to go to Chiropractor they will come to you.' Whomever you think you are today you can be better tomorrow. It is never too late to do anything in your life which your heart desires. An unahppy heart is an unhealthy life.
